EndNote is a reference management tool which allows you to organise literature references. It also facilitates the layout of references in publications, such as articles, books or theses. EndNote is closely integrated with MS Word and makes the inclusion of citations and references in a variety of citation styles easy.
WUR Library regularly organises an online and practical demonstration session on EndNote. Our EndNote specialists show the primary functions of EndNote and its usefulness in your study and research.
Target group: WUR staff and students
When: Check out the calendar on the Library website for the exact dates and times. All sessions take place online from 1 pm until 1:45 pm
What: During this demonstration, you'll learn to:
- create your first EndNote library and where to save it;
- fill in your EndNote library with sources;
- find the full text of your sources and add it to your EndNote library;
- organise your EndNote library (deduplicate, groups, tags);
- use the Cite While You Write functionality to create in-text citations and reference lists in MS Word;
- understand what the AI Key Takeaways are; and
- make a backup of your EndNote library.

Prerequisite knowledge: No prerequisite knowledge is required.
