During a Writing Retreat, you and up to twelve other students will work on your thesis from your own desk for three days. Each morning starts with a writing workshop in which you determine your goals for the day, among other things. In the afternoon you get to work on that!

One-to-one conversation about your text
If you want to discuss your writing questions and dilemmas in more detail during the retreat, you can:
- Schedule a 20-minute conversation with the teacher
- schedule a 45-minute conversation with a writing coach from the Writing Lab, the writing coaches are also there for you after the retreat

Practical matters
Requirements to join
- You are a student at WUR.
- You are present at all group meetings (three workshops and the closing session on day 3). Registration for single days is not possible.
- You can work on your own text for at least 4 hours a day. That doesn't have to be just writing. Brainstorming, reading or performing analyses are also part of the thesis process.
Where?
All activities take place online (in Teams).
What does it cost?
Participation is free of charge.
Which language?
The language of instruction is English. It doesn't matter what language you write your text in.

Writing teachers Patrick, Sarah and Myrte from Wageningen in'to Languages supervise the Writing Retreats.
