WUR Strategic Plan 2024 – 2028 highlights the commitment of WUR to be an inclusive organisation with equal opportunities for everyone regardless of race, gender, ability, faith, ideology, sexual orientation, or age. These statement gives direction for an inclusive working and learning environment where different social dimensions of inequality are considered, aligned also with the WUR Gender+ Equality Plan (2024- 2028).
At WUR we aim to have a working environment that respects people’s differences and values unique experiences, knowledge, and background from everyone. We are aware of the challenges that this entails and the structural problems that still need to be tackled regarding equality, inclusion, and access to opportunities.
We aim to increase diversity, considering intersectionality, across all levels and positions of the organization to enable meaningful participation for all. To achieve this, it is crucial to acknowledge unequal conditions and systemic barriers. Implementing this will allow us to create a working environment that reflects the diversity of the world we live in, where everyone can reach their full potential, and opportunities and recognition are equitably distributed.
