Call for Proposals – Co Funding Available for WUR EngD Projects

Dear colleagues and interested parties,
We’re excited to open a new call for proposals to further strengthen the WU Engineering Doctorate (EngD) Programme. This call offers co‑funding for six EngD projects, creating a great opportunity for new design-driven research.
With the first EngD candidates successfully graduating over the past three years, the programme is proving its value in delivering high‑quality technological designs that directly support WUR’s mission. We now invite (new) supervisors to submit new project ideas that will help expand this momentum.
How to Apply: Submit your proposal to engd@wur.nl by 4 June 2026. Please view the attachment for the format guidelines.
About the EngD Programme: Since 2023, Wageningen University has offered the two‑year, full‑time Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Design for Agrifood and Ecological Systems (DAES). The post-master programme combines advanced training with the development of a technological design in collaboration with external partners, bridging academia and industry to tackle real‑world challenges.
