The Education Design Festival is an annual two day event with hands-on workshops in which educators work on innovation of their own education.

Education Design Festival 2026 was organised on

21 and 22 April 2026 in the Orion building

There were 18 workshops focusing on a wide variety of topics, there was no overarching theme.

The hands-on workshops covered AI, Learning Analytics, Attitude towards learning outcomes, Live Action Role Play, Nature-inclusive education, WUR's culture of teaching, Diversity and Inclusivity, Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary curricula, and more.
