The Library offers several workshops on Yoda.

null

Yoda is a research data management service that enables researchers to store, share, archive and publish research data during all stages of a research project. Working with Yoda is in line with the FAIR principles and the goals of open science. Yoda is suitable for a wide range of data types and formats, including sensitive (personal) data.

WUR Library offers various Yoda workshops:

Introduction to Yoda: By using Yoda during this workshop, you dive into Yoda’s properties and functionalities. You learn to create/add documents to Yoda, fill in the metadata form, archive data in the vault and submit your work for publication. This workshop is suitable for beginners.

Yoda for data managers: Are you or will you be the Yoda data manager for your research group? Then this is the course for you. During this course, you'll learn all the tasks a Yoda data manager performs. You learn to create new parent folders, adding new members and curate submissions to the vault for archiving and publication.

Publishing in Yoda: Is your dataset, stored in Yoda, ready to be published? During this course, you learn step by step how to publish data from Yoda.

Practicalities

The courses are given several times a year and listed on the WUR Library calendar. There, further practicalities such as when, where, and how to register and prerequisite knowledge are provided. All workshops are free and offered in English.  Questions & Support
