This evaluates the quality of the research, its societal relevance, and the organization’s future viability. The self-defined goals and strategy of a research unit are guiding in this process.

The evaluation reports containing the findings and recommendations of the external peer review committees and the Executive Board’s response, as well as a summary and case studies from the research schools’ self-evaluation reports, are public.

In 2021, all research schools of Wageningen University were reviewed.
