To exercise at the SCB, to take group classes or to become a member of a student sports association, you need sports rights. The application process is easy. Depending on whether you are studying or working, choose the option below that best describes you.

SCB distinguishes between sports rights for employees and sports rights for students.

Student sports rights (SSR) are available not just to WUR students but also to students of other universities and PhD candidates. There is a special arrangement for students about to do an internship or go on an exchange and for graduates who still wish to belong to a student sports association.

Staff from Wageningen University & Research and from Aeres University of Applied Sciences, as well as employees who work in a number of non-WUR buildings on Wageningen Campus are eligible for employee sports rights (MSR).

WUR-student

Student sports rights give you access to the facilities, such as the gym and the squash and tennis courts. You can take part in the sports programme and courses, and become a member of a student sports association. You can also swim at Sportfondsenbad de Bongerd during recreational swimming hours.

As a student, you can choose to pay for sports rights annually or monthly. If you want to join a student sports association (SSV), you are required to purchase annual sports rights.

Are you a WUR student who is registered for the current academic year? Do you have a Dutch bank account? If so, log in and go to <MySCB>, then <My sports rights>.
You can buy annual or monthly sports rights online here.

If you will be graduating this academic year, you can apply for sports rights that will be valid until the end of this academic year.

Are you going abroad to study or do an internship? Are you going on an exchange?

If you plan to start an internship or go on an exchange abroad this academic year and you would like to keep your membership with a student sports club, for example, you may be eligible for a discount on your annual sports rights. One requirement is that you have to be spending at least three months abroad.

Students from abroad who come to WUR to study for up to six months can also take advantage of this.
