The Erasmus+ programme provides (green) travel support as part of the Erasmus+ grant.

In order to encourage sustainable travel, you will receive a higher amount of travel support if traveling green both to and from your exchange destination. 

When you apply for an Erasmus+ grant for your exchange, this will automatically include a fixed amount of (green) travel support. The amount is based on the travel distance between Wageningen University and your receiving institution. Please use the European Commission's distance calculator to calculate what amount of (green) travel support you will receive. If traveling sustainable both to and from your exchange destination, remember that you will have to provide proof of your travels in order to receive the higher green travel support amount. 

The travel distance represents the distance between Wageningen University and the receiving institution, whereas the amount shows the contribution to the travel costs both to and from the exchange destination.
