All students enrolled at Wageningen University receive a WUR card. Your WUR card contains your personal details and a passport photo. Rights within the university are also recorded on the card.
WURcard
The WUR card is issued to students once and can be used until the enrolment ends. You use your WUR card for:
- Identification as a student at Wageningen University & Research and access to buildings
- Library card
- Access to the University Sports Centre De Bongerd (for a fee)
- E-wallet – KUARIO
How do I get the WUR card?
Once you are enrolled, you will receive information about your WUR account by email. After you received information about your WUR account you wil also receive information by e-mail about how to apply for your WURcard.
- Do you live in the Netherlands? You will receive your WUR card by post at your home address before the start of the academic year.
- Do you still live abroad? You will receive an email when you can collect your card – upon showing valid ID – at the student desk in the FORUM building.
The student desk is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:30.
Lost your WUR card?
Have you lost your card? Report this as soon as possible at the student desk in the Forum. The cost of a new card is 10 euros. If your card has been stolen and you can provide proof of a police report, replacement is free of charge.
Statement of enrolment/proof of enrolment
After all enrolment requirements have been met and your enrolment request has been processed by the Student Service Centre, you can access a statement of enrolment via your personal page in Osiris.
The statement of enrolment can be used for institutions that require proof of enrolment at Wageningen University, such as the tax authorities, insurance companies, student finance, etc.
The proof of enrolment contains personal details, study details, and the exact period of enrolment. The proof of enrolment is issued per academic year.
Note: A statement of enrolment can be found on your personal Osiris page. To collect the WUR card, it is sufficient to bring an ID to the student desk in the Forum building.
