Wellbeing Week Header

Your wellbeing is much more than managing stress. It is about feeling connected - to yourself, to others, and to the place you call home. It’s about balance, belonging, and growth — both in your studies and in life.

From 9 to 13 November 2026, join us for Student Wellbeing Week (formerly Surf Your Stress Week), a week full of workshops, activities and lectures designed to help you relax, recharge, and connect with fellow WUR students.

Mark your calendars, bring your friends, and be part of a week filled with inspiration, community, and practical tips for feeling your best.

Programme Wellbeing Week

Registration starts October 26th. Click the title for more info and registration.

If you have any problems registering, please try logging in with your WUR-ID instead of your email address. Or, send an email to wellbeingweek@wur.nl.

In collaboration with Social Run Club Wageningen and Antalya 07, we will be running a 5 km at a social pace, with tea and Turkish treats afterwards.

Do you ever find yourself struggling to put on your running shoes? Or to wake up early? We do too. And yes it can suck, but one thing is certain: it will never make you feel worse. By running together we lower boundaries and celebrate the little wins together.  Moreover, running itself lowers stress and cortisol levels, replacing the feeling of ‘having to move forward’ with physical steps forward.

Come run with us and start your day good with miles, smiles and delicious treats.

12:00 - 13:30h    Same Campus, Different Brains: A Neurodiversity Workshop

Student life can be busy, and everyone experiences it differently. Some people need quiet to focus, others need movement or conversation. Some are easily overwhelmed by noise and light, while others need more stimulation. There’s no right or wrong way, our brains simply work differently.

In this interactive workshop, you’ll discover how you take in the world and what gives you energy or costs you energy. Through short, surprising exercises, you’ll experience how different people can respond very differently to the same environment. You’ll also hear personal stories from people with lived experience and have plenty of space for questions and discussion.

What's in it for you?

•  Better understanding of your own needs and energy •  More insight into how others experience the world •  New ways to connect and communicate with each other

For everyone, whatever your brain is like.

St. Door het Geluid facilitates two - Dutch spoken - workshops at the same time.
